Michael Myckowiak of Grand Rapids MI culminated his 10-year academic games career by winning the highest player award at the 2010 National Tournament in Cincinnati.
His senior year, he made a huge impact on the middle school eam as well, coaching them and guiding them through material that many high school players would have trouble utilizing in matches. His players particularly liked his stories about a young academic games player, “Little Michael,” and his experiences.
