The Presidents Committee has decided to break the presidents into three groups for 2019-20.Elementary/Middle will play one of the three groups each year starting with Group 1. The group will be further subdivided for the two sessions of the game locally and at nationals. Junior/Senior will play two of the three groups each year starting with Groups 1 and 2. The first session locally and at nationals will contain questions pertaining to Group 1 with the second session coveering Group 2. The exact breakdown of the presidents into three groups has not been finalized except that it won't be three groups of 15. The dividing line between the groups will be determined by the flow of American history. The themes are also being reviewed and revised. The Presidents Tournament Rules will contain the final groupings and themes when it is published by July 1. |
