Show your excitement and love of the games to your students. Try to improve their skills, while at the same time learning from them to help your coaching ability. Ask of them what you would expect to be able to do yourself.
One of the joys of coaching Academic Games is learning from your players—either a new strategy in a cube game, new insight into a Propaganda technique, or new information about a president or World Events topic. Sometimes a player’s question can cause you to view what you teach differently and sharpen your own understanding and method of presentation.
