  1. Set challenging Goals.
  • Have several possible types of Goals in mind when it’s your shake. Then you can pick the one that best fits the cubes that you roll.
  • Pick the variation needed for your strategy.
  • Take the full three minutes you are allotted to set the Goal. (One minute to roll and pick a variation, then two minutes to set the Goal.) Use the time to try various Goals on paper to be sure a Solution is possible from the Resources.
