2017 AGLOA National Tournament
Over 1,100 people will converge on Wheeling, WV, April 28 for the 52nd annual Academic Games National Tournament. They will come from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Louisiana, Colorado, and, for the first time, Oklahoma.
This tournament boasts several other firsts:
- First time tournament play starts the first afternoon rather than the first evening;
- First time Current Events is played as a separate game from Theme.
Unfortunately, it is also the first tournament without Larry Liss, a beloved founder of AGLOA, who passed away in December. Larry will be fondly remembered at the opening ceremonies Friday night.
