Many students do not do as well in school as they should because they lack organization. They misplace handouts and assignments. They don’t keep track of daily assignments.
The same traits can keep an Academic Games player from doing as well as his/her ability would allow. A student who plays multiple games will accumulate numerous worksheets, calendars, quizzes, and other materials just as in a regular subject.
You can improve the performance of all your players by helping them get better organized. For example, you can give each a binder to be used for Academic Games only. Punch holes in each handout so that it can be placed in the binder. You can keep the binders on a shelf or in a closet or locker in the room where the team meets. Players start each practice by retrieving their binders from the storage place.
