The AGLOA Board of Directors voted unanimously to add Julie Becker as its newest member, effective immediately. Julie is an Academic Games alumna who distinguished herself as a Hall of Fame player at Renaissance High School in Detroit and as a coach in Ann Arbor in the 1990’s. Julie graduated from Yale Law School in 1999 and served as a clerk to the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor, then as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals in New York. Julie spent the next 16 years representing low-income clients at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. Julie currently serves as a trial court judge on the District of Columbia Superior Court.
