Beginning in the 2006-7 tournament year, Junior and Senior Division Presidents competitions include questions with references to a select list of U.S. leaders. These references will give clues to the correct President to answer. By including these U.S. leaders, students will broaden their knowledge of the historical era.
The list of famous Americans is divided into four sections of seven or eight people. The four sections will rotate in such a way that over a four year period each section will appear once. The lists may be modified over time to include new members.
The 2017-18 tournaments will include clues pertaining to Group 1.
